Freda Boles

Funeral services for Frances Alfreda "Aunt Freda" Boles, 74 of Cookeville, will be Sunday, September 11 at 3 PM at Pleasant Ridge Free Will Baptist Church on Phifer Mountain.. Interment will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Putnam County. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 2 PM until service time. There will no visitation at the funeral home. Bro. Tex Boles and Bro. Sam Davis will officiate.

Mrs. Boles died Thursday, September 8, 2022 at her home.

She was born April 19, 1948 in Monterey to the late Alfred and Glema Neal Ford.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Linda Faye Allen.

Known to many by "Aunt Freda", she left for Heaven to meet her Savior Jesus and much beloved family who have gone on. She met the love of her life, Willard Raymond Boles on a blind date and they were married 59 wonderful years.

She enjoyed sewing and making quilts, fishing and going to church and being with her church family.

Survivors include husband Willard Raymond Boles, several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by many loved ones.
