Freddie Judd

BAXTER-Memorial services for Freddie Eugene Judd, 83 of Baxter, will be Saturday, September 17 at 5 PM at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Bro. Wayne Redmon will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3 PM until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Judd died Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

He was born August 18, 1939 in Cookeville to the late Lloyd and Daisy Choate Judd.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Brent Hamby and a brother-in-law Frank Conner.

Freddie was owner-operator of L&J Market in Baxter for 41 years. He was a "jack of all trades" and a carpenter.

Survivors include daughters Sheila (Dennis)Yates of Charlotte, TN, Linda Judd and Alan Eaves, Brenda Hamby and Cindy (Bill) Johnson all of Cookeville, Penny Harrell and husband Jimmy Maxwell of Baxter, sisters Wanda Joyce Conner and Melissa Annette Fitzpatrick both of Cookeville, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
