Funeral services for Gary Joe Hayes, 63, of Cookeville, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at Woodbine Funeral Home, 3620 Nolensville Rd. in Nashville. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today, Thursday, Jan. 29, at the funeral home. Mr. Hayes passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015. His family includes his mother, Peggy Hayes Thomas; brothers, Terrell, Larry, Kendall and Jeff Hayes; uncle, Grady Hayes; nephews, Joe Hayes and Alex Blum-Hayes; and caregiver, Barbara Baird. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Paul Wampler will officiate the services.
