Gary Ogletree

MT. JULIET/COOKEVILLE, TN-A celebration of life service for Mr. Gary Ogletree, age 65 of Mt. Juliet, TN will be held Thursday, October 13th at 4:00 p.m. at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Bro. Buddy Johnson will officiate.

His family will receive friends Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Gary died October 4, 2022. He was born in Livingston, TN and graduated Putnam County High School and TN Technological University. He was retired from TN Department of Transportation (TDOT) with 40 years of service. Gary was an avid fan and season ticket holder of the Nashville Predators. He was also an avid fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his father, William D. Ogletree.

He is survived by mother, Geneva Garrett Ogletree; companion, Freida Begarly; son, Ryan (Jennifer) Ogletree; sister, Cindy (Ricky) Gates; grandchildren, Grayson and Molly Ogletree; nephew, Drew (Ansley) Gates; and by his former wife, Kelly Barber.
