Glen Alan Boggs, a cherished father, brother, and friend, passed away on Saturday October 4, 2025, at his residence in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was born on December 21, 1947, in Akron, Ohio, to Carl H. Boggs and Edna Alice Bohannon Boggs, both of whom preceded him in death.

Glen dedicated a significant portion of his life to his career as a test engineer, serving faithfully for 42 years at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. After his retirement, he embraced the peaceful surroundings of the Phifer Mountain Community in Cookeville, where he continued to enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

A true lover of the outdoors, Glen found joy in nature and the warmth of gathering around a fire, where he created lasting memories with his family and friends.

Glen is survived by his son, James Boggs (Sharon) of New Carlisle, Ohio, and Tommy Boggs of Knoxville, Tennessee; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sisters, Diana O'Neal of Livingston, Tennessee, and Deborah Jean Ray of Cookeville; as well as his brothers, Ronald Boggs of Monterey, Tennessee, Craig Boggs (Brilla) of Monterey, Tennessee, and Rex Boggs (Sharon) of Gonzales,Texas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lelah Claudean Boggs; and his granddaughter, Jessica Susan Boggs.

A graveside service will be held to honor Glen's life on Wednesday October 8 at 2 p.m. at Smith Chapel Cemetery.

Glen's legacy of love and fond memories will remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
