Glenda Randolph

Funeral services for Glenda Randolph, 82 of Cookeville, will be Saturday, October 15 at 2 PM at the Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the West Cemetery in the Burgess Falls Community. Bro. Kerry Higgins will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Randolph died Sunday night, October 9, 2022 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 6, 1940 in Cookeville to the late David Crockett and Carrie Pennington McBride.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Harold Lee Randolph on September 9, 2016, sisters Mary Ellen Farley, Minnie Peek, Genetta Irby, Faye Scott, Sue Boring, brothers Tommy and Daniel McBride.

She was a member of Taylor's Seminary Free Will Baptist Church.

Glenda was retired as a school bus driver with Putnam County Schools with over 50 years of service. She enjoyed playing cards and in her younger days liked volleyball and racing cars. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved cooking for all and enjoyed guests.

Survivors include daughters Teresa (Mike) Hodges, Kim Dyer and Tawnia Hodges all of Cookeville, grandchildren: Steven (Casey) Eldridge, Jared (Setera)Hodges, Chris (Shelby) Hodges, Jake Demps, Jamie Demps, great grandchildren: Jackson Demps, Ava Kate Jones, Colton, Hunter and Asher Eldridge, Bryce and Olivia Hodges, sister Ruth Farley of East Gary, IN, brother Keith McBride of Cookeville, sister-in-law Iva Dell Randolph of Smithville, many nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers will be Steven Eldridge, Jared and Chris Hodges, Jake and Jackson Demps and Mitch Leslie.
