COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Jacqueline Tillery, of Cookeville and formerly of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday October 23, 2025, in Grandview Post Acute Care in Cookeville. Born on January 9, 1956, in Knoxville, she dedicated much of her life to those around her, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who crossed her path.

Jacqueline was known for her vibrant spirit and warm personality. She never knew a stranger and embraced everyone with open arms, bringing a sense of welcome and joy wherever she went. Her quirky nature made her a delightful companion, and those fortunate enough to know her often spoke of her uncanny ability to make people feel instantly warm and welcomed.

Her career with the Knoxville Driver Services Center showcased not only her professional commitment but also her genuine care for the people she served. She fostered relationships within her work, treating every encounter as an opportunity to connect and share smiles.

A resident of Cookeville in her later years, Jacqueline called Knoxville home for most of her life. Her profound love for antiques and thrift shopping reflected her appreciation for history and stories woven into the fabric of everyday life. This passion was a testament to her unique character and her desire to find beauty in the past.

Jacqueline was a proud member of West End Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, where her contributions to her faith community were cherished. She nurtured her spiritual life with the same enthusiasm she brought to all aspects of her existence.

Jacqueline is survived by her daughter, Jessica Tillery; her son, Chad Tillery (Ashley); her nephew, Eli Pressley (Colleen); and her beloved grandchildren, Sarah, Connor, Abby, Brady, Madelyn, and Lila. They will forever carry her memory in their hearts, alongside the lessons of love and kindness she imparted.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Jack Marley and Nell McKeethan Marley; her husband, Samuel Tillery; and her brother, Charles Marley. Each of these relationships shaped Jacqueline into the loving and nurturing person that she became.

Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will remember her not just for her love of antiques, but for her ability to create connections and foster a sense of belonging in a world that often feels disconnected. Jacqueline will be dearly missed, yet her spirit will continue to inspire those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
