James Lee Robinson, age 73 of Rickman, TN, passed away Wednesday October 12, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Jim was born December 10, 1948 in Altoona, PA to the late Donald Raymond Robinson II and Theada Pearl Brooks Robinson.


He graduated from Williamsburg High School in 1966 in Williamsburg, PA.


Jim proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the American Legion since 1995, and most recently served as Adjutant at Post 46 and the Board of Directors at Post 135 in Cookeville, TN.


Jim was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was a lifetime member of the Pioneer Valley Sportsman Club in West Springfield, MA. He loved to bass fish, deer hunt, and target shoot. He worked at Universal Tool as a machinist and plant manager for over 34 years prior to retirement.


He is survived by his daughter, Gabrielle Robinson of Portland, OR; two sons, Eric (Rinkse) Robinson of Medford, MA and James Robinson Jr.; brothers, Donald ( Mary Lou) Robinson III of Levittown, PA, Gary (Nancy) Robinson of Hollidaysburg, PA, and Roy Robinson of Altoona, PA; step-brother, Tom Hammond of Altoona, PA; sisters, Mary Ann (Barry) Isenberg of Williamsburg, PA and Teddy (Larry) Rice of Elkton, MD; granddaughter, Cora Robinson; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Roy Hammond; and step-brother, Bill Hammond.

A funeral service will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam on Nov. 15 at 9 A.M. The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made in Jim's honor to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation or the American Legion.
