Jane Mee

Funeral services for Betty Jane Mee, age 70, of Cookeville, will be held at 12 noon Thursday September 19 at Dyer Funeral Home. Pastor Ted Kocher will officiate. Interment will follow in the West Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Jane passed away Monday evening September 16, 2019 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. She was born March 29, 1949 in Putnam County, TN to the late Harold C. and Perry Helen Owens Montgomery. Jane was a member of Life Church in Cookeville, where she was active with the Sr. Life Group. She formerly worked at Cookeville Regional Medical Center and later retired from the Upper Cumberland Development District. Jane is survived by her son, Robbie Mee; two sisters, Ruth Thomas and Becky Bunch; grandson, Dakota Mee; and granddaughter, Shelby Mee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Lynn Montgomery Pallbearers will be friends and family. Dyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (931)526-7158.
