Jane Odom

Jane Evans Odom passed away June 1st, 2023, at her home in Cookeville.

She was born on September 6th, 1933, in Crossville, Tennessee.

Upon high school graduation, Jane attended Tennessee Polytechnic Institute, where she met the love of her life, Wade.

Jane served as the personal secretary to Senator Tommy Burks. She was also a real estate broker in Florida.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Wade T. Odom.

They shared a love for the Senior Olympic Games. Jane was a multiple gold medal recipient at the national level for table tennis.

Jane is survived by her three children, Terry Odom (Patricia), Joan Gifford, and Janet Hinch (Thomas); three grandchildren, Laurie Green (William), Tommy Hinch (Elizabeth), Kimberly Odom (Jason); and two great-grandchildren, Ellie and Tucker Hinch.

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life.
