Janet Aldrich

A Prayer Service for Mrs. Janet Marie Aldrich, 72 of Cookeville will be held Saturday June 15 at 3:30 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Father Chad Puthoff officiating. Mrs. Aldrich"�s family will receive friends Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Aldrich died Tuesday morning June 11, 2013 at her home. She was born October 13, 1940 in Washington DC to the late John Arthur and Martha Rebecca Russell Higgs. She loved her family and cherished spending time with them. She especially enjoyed trips to the beach. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, John Douglas "Jack"� Aldrich (whom she married January 1, 1961 in Hillcrest Heights, Maryland); daughter, Amy Aldrich of Cookeville; three sons and two daughters-in-law, John "Jack"� and Suzanne Aldrich II of Jacksonville, FL, Robert and Amy Aldrich of Nunnally, TN, and Kevin Aldrich of Cookeville; seven grandchildren, Amber Aldrich, Brandon Aldrich, Eric Aldrich, Abrielle Aldrich, Jonathan Aldrich, Victoria Aldrich, and John Aldrich III; sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Ted Hillebrand of Cookeville; and six brothers and five sisters-in-law, Wayne Higgs of Hughesville, Maryland, David and Wanda Higgs of Savannah, GA, Michael and Danielle Higgs of Davidson, NC, Stephen and Connie Higgs of Hernando, Mississippi, Timothy and Jennifer Higgs of Kingston Springs, TN and Jack and Rebekka Higgs of Conifer, Colorado.
