Janice Crouch passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon, April 13, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Osburn and Edna Crouch; her beloved husband of 49 years, Charles “Boots” Crouch; her son, Kenny Crouch; and her daughter, Kathy Crouch Mangrum.

After moving to Cookeville, she brought her experience for early childhood education to Putnam County, where she helped start Dry Valley Kindergarten. She later transitioned into a successful career in banking, where she worked for over 40 years, spending the majority of her time at Bank of Putnam County (OneBank). She took great pride in serving her customers and building lasting relationships.

Janice was truly a people person who embraced life fully. She treasured her friendships and shared many memorable travels with companions over the years. In retirement, she explored the world, enjoying numerous adventures, including several cruises, and delighted her family with the many humorous stories she brought home.

Her life was also marked by remarkable strength and resilience. Despite enduring the loss of her oldest son, oldest daughter, and her husband, Janice carried herself with grace and gratitude. She raised two of her grandchildren and oversaw the care of her elderly mother while maintaining her full-time career.
