Jeff Boyd

Stanley Jeffrey (Jeff) Boyd, Jr., born in Florence, SC in 1950, passed away on August 29, 2022 in Charlotte, NC. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Stanley Jeffrey Boyd and Cloy Little Boyd. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Terri Langley Boyd and his children Brent (Rachael) Boyd of Atlanta, GA and Ashley (Andrew) Wooten of Charlotte,NC. He was Super Pops to his grandchildren Raleigh, Lawson, Summer, Callie and Bo. Jeff received his undergraduate degree and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina. Upon graduating from USC law school he opened a private practice in Myrtle Beach, SC. He eventually made a career change to claims litigation management and had recently enjoyed retirement. Jeff was actively involved in many church activities including mission trips to Haiti, Uganda, and Bolivia. He had a soft heart when it came to working with young adults with special needs. Jeff was a devout Christian and had a passion for studying the Bible. Jeff, Dad, Pops, Super Pops we love you. A graveside service will be held Sept. 3 at 11:00 at the Salem Cemetery in Cookeville, TN. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rainbowexpressministries.com.
