Jeffrey "Jeff" Alan Bryant

BAXTER CHAPEL-Jeffrey “Jeff” Alan Bryant, 53, of Cookeville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville. He was born on October 1, 1972, in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Jeff was a graduate of Upperman High School in Baxter. He went on to work as a truck driver for WTI Transport Trucking, a career that reflected his steady work ethic and dedication. Jeff enjoyed camping, being at the lake, the beach and the ocean.

He is survived by his brothers, Kenny Bryant and Tommy Bryant; his sister, Teresa Gibbons and her husband, David all of Baxter; and his fiancé, Natalie Viens. He also leaves behind his nephews and nieces, Travis Gibbons and his wife, Lindsey; Cierra Gibbons; McKenna Smith and her husband, Justin; Cayla Foster and her husband Matt; and Ryan Gibbs and his wife, Grace.

Jeff’s memory will also be cherished by the younger generations of his family, including his great-nephews, Lucas Gibbons, Hayden Judd and Ethan Judd; his great-nieces, Lillianna Gibbons, Hallie Smith, and Kenzie Judd; and his great-great-nephew, Maddox. He is also survived by his aunts, Pauline Norrod and Ruby May and her husband Keith; and many cousins.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, James Kenneth “Turtle” Bryant, and Johnie Russell Bryant; his grandparents, John T. Russell and Floy Madewell Russell Scarlett, and Seburn Lee Bryant and Nellie Putty Bryant McHenry.

Jeff will be remembered with love by his family and all who knew him. His life touched many, and his memory will remain a lasting part of those he leaves behind.

A private family memorial service will be at Russell-Apple Family Cemetery at a later date.
