Jessie Moore

COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Jessie Maureen Sneed Moore, age 75, of Cookeville, Tennessee, and formerly of Auburn, California, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026, at her home.

Jessie was born on September 6, 1950, in Peoria, Illinois, to the late Glenn Jason Sneed and Clara Agnes Simpson Sneed. Throughout her life, she worked in the construction, restaurant, and retail industries. Jessie was known for her hardworking nature and enjoyed spending time with her family. She also found great joy in home improvement projects and gardening alongside her beloved husband, true love, and best friend, Allen Eugene Moore.

In addition to her parents, Jessie was preceded in death by her sisters, Velma Wolf and Ruth Byler; and her brothers, Chuck Sneed and Bill Sneed.

Jessie leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Allen Eugene Moore; her son, Glenn Moore and wife Lorey; her brother, Clifford Sneed and wife Sherry; and her granddaughters, Kailee and Kaycee Moore.

She is also survived by special family members, Carol Wayland and family, as well as the Byler family, whose love and support meant so much to her.
