BAXTER-Funeral services for Juanita Dunn, 83 of Cookeville formerly of Baxter, will be Saturday, May 6 at 1 PM from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery in Putnam County. Mrs. Dunn died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Powell, TN. She was born November 29, 1933 in Putnam County to the late Arthur and Cledith Carr Hutchings. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Isaac "Ike" Dunn, son James Edward Dunn, grandchildren: April Powers, Scott Cook and Jeffery Dunn, sisters Alberta Davis, Berniece Lee and Betty Lou Steele, brothers Ben, Teddie, Glen and William Hutchings. She was a homemaker and member of Praise Cathedral Church of God. She loved baking and cooking for family and friends. She loved attending church, shopping and collecting dolls. Survivors include daughters Annette Altes of Knoxville, Donna Johnson of Cookeville and Patricia Fields of Baxter, son Lonnie Dunn of Baxter, grandchildren: Travis Wright, Misty Lopez, Glenda Dunn, Melissa Dunn, Isaac Cook, Cody Dunn, Zachary Dunn and Crystal Dunn, nine great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends Saturday after 11 AM at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Bro. David Snyder, Bro. Richard Hackett and Pastor Eric Vickers will officiate.
