DYER CHAPEL-Judy Lynn Weaver, born on April 5, 1959, in Cookeville, TN passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville at the age of 66. A long-time resident of Baxter, Judy dedicated her life to her family and community, exemplifying the spirit of care and dedication in all that she did.
A proud graduate of Upperman High School in Baxter, Class of 1977, Judy went on to become an influential figure as a board member of Allison Cemetery. Her passion for her community was evident in her many contributions, and she was known for tirelessly advocating for the needs of others. Judy's nurturing nature extended beyond her public service; she was also a devoted caregiver to her loved ones.
Judy cherished her time spent in the garden, finding joy in working in her yard and cultivating beautiful plants. She often expressed her love for nature and the importance of hard work, having helped on the family farm during her life.
Judy is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Thurman Weaver, of Baxter, and her precious daughters, Ashley Weaver of Baxter and Allison Weaver of Cookeville. Their bonds reflect the warmth and love that Judy instilled in her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Arvie Thomas Martin, who undoubtedly shaped the compassionate and loving person she became.
Visitation for friends and family will be on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Dyer Chapel, located at 798 South Willow Avenue, Cookeville, TN. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Bro. Jason Bryant will officiate. Interment will follow in Allison Cemetery in Baxter.
Judy Lynn Weaver will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her commitment to her community, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
