Graveside services and interment for Mrs. Mable June Guffey, 75, of Cookeville, will be held at 10 am Friday, April 12, at the Wallace Cemetery in Silver Point with Dwight Henry officating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery. Mrs. Guffey died Wednesday evening, April 10, 2013 in Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center in Monterey, TN. She was born November 25, 1937 in Putnam County, TN to the late Donald Dewey and Helen Francis Maxwell Sadler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, a son, Gavin Vern Guffey; three sisters, Betty Rose Maynard, Marie Leons, and infant Billy Jeannette Sadler; four brothers, Coy, Bob, Harry and Joe Sadler. Mrs. Guffey was retired from Teledyne Still-Man. She is survived by a son, Tim Guffey of Cookeville; daughter, Gloria Sguanci of Silver Point; brother and sister-in-law, Pete and Regina Sadler of Dearborn, MI; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Freda and Milan Whitefield of Cookeville, Jewell and Pat Lafever of Silver Point, Sue and Jack McGuire of Smithville, Janet and Larry Holt of Nashville; and a grandson, Brandon Gambrell.
