DYER CHAPEL-Kelli Ann Bajar Scott, aged 58, of Baxter, Tennessee, passed away at her home on Friday, February 13, 2026. Born on August 17, 1967, in New Jersey, Kelli spent her life making a meaningful impact on her family, friends, and the community around her. She was a dedicated dispatcher for Scott Transport in Baxter.
Kelli was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Jennifer Scott of Baxter and Kaitlyn (Jonathan) Danley of Gainesboro. She cherished her role as a grandmother to Ellie Scott and Megan Schoenthal. She is also survived by her mother, Sarah Russo, of Cookeville, and her brothers, Todd Bajar of Murfreesboro and Robert Bajar of Texas.
Her interests included a deep love for reading and writing poetry, often finding solace and inspiration in the beauty of words. Kelli also had a profound appreciation for the outdoors; she enjoyed mowing, gardening, and basking in the sunshine, activities that brought her immense joy and tranquility.
Kelli was preceded in death by husband, Mark Chandler Scott, who passed away on November 7, 2025; and her father, Robert Bajar.
She will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and the joy she provided to those fortunate enough to know her.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate Kelli's life will take place on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 12:00 Noon at Double Springs Cemetery, located on Plunk Whitson Road in Cookeville, TN. Chaplain Dwight Henry will officiate. The family will visit with family and friends at the cemetery immediately following the service. Everyone is invited to gather and pay their respects as they remember a remarkable woman who touched so many lives.
Kelli Ann Scott's memory will live on through the love she fostered and the lasting impressions she left in the hearts of her loved ones.
