Funeral services for Mr. Kevin Lee Ferris, age 62 of Atlanta, GA, will be held Friday March 9th at 1pm in the Baxter Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Maxwell Cemetery South. Bro. Jeremiah Tatum will officiate. Mr. Ferris died Tuesday March 6, 2018 in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home in Atlanta. He was born December 16, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan and attended school in Bentley and Livonia, Michigan. Kevin lived in Washington before returning to Michigan. He settled in Atlanta and worked as a cook in various restaurants including Applebee's and Ruby Tuesday as well as the local Holiday Inn. He is survived by mother Bettie Maxwell Deluca and husband Dominic of Cookeville; son, Dustin Ferris and wife Michelle of Simpsonville, South Carolina; grandchildren, Veronica and Lauren Ferris; sister, Karen Leopardi and husband Gary of Livonia, Michigan; three nieces, Laura, Marisa and Ariana; one nephew, Vincent; and by many cousins. Mr. Ferris' family will receive friends Friday from 10 am until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the family.
