Funeral Services for Lillian Odell Davison Moss, age 94, of Baxter, will be Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Crest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, August 10, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Moss passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at her daughter-in-law's home. She was born May 25, 1918 in Dekalb County TN to the late Elijah Davison and Sallie Ann Jackson Davison. She was a homemaker, farmer, and mother to five children. Mrs. Odell was the last surviving charter member of Lilly’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. She was devoted to her church and her family. Odell is survived by one son, Billy Moss of Baxter, one daughter-in-law, Ruth Moss of Algood, nine grandchildren; William Moss of Baxter, Pam Arms of Cookeville, Misty Moss of Algood, Donald Moss of Baxter, Roy Moss of Cookeville, Dale Moss of Cookeville, Charles Earl Francis of Texas, Douglas Francis of Texas and Donna Francis also of Texas. In addition she is survived by sisters; Ruby, Jane, Michelle, and Linda Carol, and brother; George Lee and John Thomas, as well as a host of great-grandchildren, friends and family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moss was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bill Moss, children; Carnel, Willard and Clarence Moss and Delcie Francis, daughter-in-law; Brenda Herron Moss, grandchildren; James Lee Moss, Carol Moss and Carl Wayne Moss. She was also preceded in death by eight brothers; Amos, Herbert, Toy, Ezra, Bobby, Thomas, Ancil and Willie, and three sisters; Opal, Irene, and Mary Rose. Pallbearers will be William Moss, Donald Moss, Dale Moss, Roy Moss, Ted Prater, David Arms, Pam Arms and Misty Moss. Honorary Pallbearers will be LeAnna, Ashley, Cathryn, and Madelynn Arms, and Aaron Moss. Bro. Gary Norton will conduct the services.
