COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - It is with both deep sadness and immense gratitude for her life that we share the passing of our dear friend, Linda Joy Bradley, who left us on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in Cookeville, Tennessee, after a short illness. She was 74.
Born on November 22, 1950, in Sparta, Tennessee, Linda was the beloved daughter of the late Bob and Tassie Bradley. She was also preceded in death by her devoted companion, Arnold Lefkovitz of Cookeville, TN, with whom she shared many years of partnership and laughter.
Linda’s adventurous spirit took flight early in life, quite literally, when she became a stewardess, a role that allowed her to explore the world and nurture her love of travel. Later, she brought that same grace and attentiveness to her work as an office supervisor at Arnold Lefkovitz’s law office, where she led with both strength and kindness.
To those of us lucky enough to know her, Linda was more than a friend. She was chosen family. She is survived by her lifelong friends Ken and Debby Kudrey; their daughters Katy Kudrey and Genny Kudrey Patterson (Nate); and their three sons, Henry, Joe, and Louis, all of whom Linda loved as her own.
Linda found joy in life’s simple pleasures: the serenity of a freshly tilled garden, the companionship of her beloved cats, and the tactile creativity of painting with her hands, something she did with deep emotion and instinctive beauty. Her artwork, much like her spirit, was bold, heartfelt, and completely one of a kind.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
