Loama Heiskell

Mrs. Loama Fox Heiskell, age 89 of Cookeville died Thursday morning February 14, 2019 at her residence. She was born Thursday October 17, 1929 in Celina, TN. to the late Francis and Loree Smith Dubree. Loama attended Bloomington Springs Church of Christ and Holladay Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and caregiver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Fox, second husband, Keith Heiskell; two brothers, Omer and Lex Dubree, sister, Sue Farris; brother-in-law and sister, Freddie and Jean Alcorn, Great granddaughter Cara Grace Kirby. She is survived by her daughter, Dewanna (Kenneth) Whitfield of Smithville, TN; son, Ronald Earl Fox of Lexington, TN; sister, Betty Dubree of Smithville; brother-in-law, Rellon Farris of Sparta; grandchildren, Shaunna (Jess) Kirby, Nina (John) Boles, and Autumn Whitfield; great-grandchildren, Clay and Colton Kirby, Maeloree Kirby, Canaan Gibson, Legacy, Legend, and Liberty Boles. Loama's funeral services will be held Saturday and 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home with Johnny Fox and Mike Fox officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at Dyer Funeral Home. Active Pallbearers will be Clint and Cody Warren, Steve and Mark Vinson, Terry Fox, and Michael Dubree. Honorary pallbearers will be Canaan Gibson, Chayton Maddle, Clay and Colton Kirby. Dyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
