Margaret Lambert

Private graveside services and interment for Mrs. Margaret Minnie Lambert, 90, of Garden City, MI and formerly of Cookeville were held at the Cookeville City Cemetery. Mrs. Lambert died September 28, 2013 at her home in Garden City. She was born August 18, 1923 to the late Oscar and Sarah Elizabeth Lewis Loftin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death two brothers, Clealand and Oscar Loftin; and three sisters, Bertha Grier, Noralee Roop, and June Hensley. Mrs. Lambert was a homemaker most of her adult life, but was very proud of her service in making B21 Bombers in Ypsilanti, MI. during WWII. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Ed Freeman, of Garden City, MI; two nieces, Donna Jones and husband Marvin, Judy Fifth and husband Gene, all of Knoxville; and sister-in-law, Lydia Shelton of Algood.
