Margaret Mabrey

Graveside services and interment for Margaret Long Mabrey, age 86 of Cookeville, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday December 31 at Algood City Cemetery. Mrs. Mabrey passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born April 25, 1934 in Sneedville, TN to the late Robert Coleman and Mary Elizabeth Seal Long. Margaret was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed studying genealogy and assisted others with their own genealogy. She is survived by son, Mike Mabrey of Cookeville; daughter, Rhonda Mabrey of Cookeville; sisters, Brenda Myers of Cookeville and Charlott Guthrie of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Melissa (Scott) Dixon, Sherry Stacey, Shanna Guthrie, Anthony (Crista) Guthrie, and Will Mabrey; great grandchildren, Mason and Fischer Dixon, Patrick, Alex, and Jamie Stacey, Luca and Kai Guthrie; great-great grandchildren, Jeremiah, MaKenzie, Jossalyn, and Harlee Stacey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mabrey; grandson, Joshua Mabrey; and brother, Larry Long. Dyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
