Mary Ann Medlock, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her residence on February 7, 2025. Born on March 7, 1941, in Cookeville, Tennessee, Mary Ann was a cherished member of her family and community.

A 1959 graduate of Baxter Seminary, she dedicated her life to being a loving and devoted homemaker, creating a warm and nurturing environment for her loved ones. Known for her jolly spirit and radiant smile, Mary Ann had a remarkable ability to spread joy and positivity wherever she went. As the youngest in her family, she was embraced by her adoring siblings, which fostered the loving nature that marked her life.

Mary Ann's vibrant presence touched the hearts of many. She was a proud member of Friendship Church on Mine Lick Creek Road, where she found a sense of belonging and fellowship. Her faith played a significant part in her life, guiding her through both joyous occasions and challenging times.

Passionate about cross-stitching, Mary Ann often spent her leisure hours creating beautiful pieces that reflected her creativity and love. She also loved baking and was noted for making delicious sugar cookies for holidays and special occasions down through the years. However, her proudest role was undoubtedly being Nana to her granddaughter, Tiffany Moore, who filled her heart with immeasurable pride and joy.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 62 wonderful years, Vanas Medlock, whose unwavering love and support were the foundation of their family. She also leaves behind her dear daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Jeff Moore, along with her beloved granddaughter Tiffany Moore. Together, they carry forward the warmth and love she instilled in them.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Ridley Fain and Maude Mae Marcum Maddux, and her dear siblings: Ruby Shores, Robert "Floyd" Maddux, Juanita Dyal, Bert Lowe, and Betty Medley. Each of them held a special place in her heart and memories, and their absence has left a void that only their shared love can fill.

Pallbearers will be Rodger Lafever, Joe Harpe, Hank Guess, Damian Moran, Donnie Ray Maxwell and Jacob Stanton.
