Matthew Tinsley

Matthew Tinsley, age 34 of Carthage, passed away Thursday Evening December 31, 2020 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Memorial services will be planned for a later date. Matthew was born June 19, 1986 in Cookeville to the late Ricky Lee Tinsley and Betty Scott Clinton of Cookeville. In addition to his mother, he is survived by fiance, Cynthia Kirby; step-children, Trevor Kirby and Alyssa Shehane; sisters, Shannon Sink, Melissa Knowles, and Jessica (Donald) Anderson; nieces, Keri Grimes and Maggie Knowles; aunts, Marsha Clinton, Amber Chilton and Jennifer Scott; cousins, Bobby Reynolds, and Samantha Reynolds; nephews, Brandon Dillon and Parker Knowles; great niece and nephew, Gavin and Layla Dillon. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Judy and Ralph Chilton, Arthur Scott, Outher and Ernestine Tinsley; and son, Elijah Tinsley.
