DYER CHAPEL-No services are planned for Melissa Ann Carrender, 51 of Cookeville, who passed away Monday, January 5, 2026 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 17, 1974 in Somerset, KY.  She was a homemaker.

Melissa is survived by son, Anthony Phelps of Cookeville; daughters, Destiny Phelps of Somerset, KY and Whitney Phelps of Monticello, KY; sister, Elizabeth Turpin and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Georgia Worley Carrender.
