Melodi Baumann

Funeral services for Ms. Melodi Baumann, 26, of Cookeville, will be held Monday July 8 at 11 am in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rabbi Ken Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow in the Cookeville City Cemetery. Per Melodi"�s wishes, the family asks that all guests wear orange in her memory. The family will receive friends Monday from 10am until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Melodi"�s name to the ASPCA or AARF, to commemorate her love for animals. Ms. Baumann died suddenly Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in Cookeville. She was born on April 28, 1987 in Queens, New York to Donald Baumann and Sara Barnett Elwell. Ms. Baumann was a custodian for the Putnam County School System. She was a unique person with a great sense of humor. She loved her friends and family and especially her dog Heero. In addition to her parents, she is survived by brother, Kenny Baumann of Cookeville, sister, Randi Lynn of Murfreesboro, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Pallbearers will be Kenny Baumann, Curtis Myers, Eric Distefano, Michelle Coburn, Jonathan Wilford, and Justin Childers.
