DYER CHAPEL-Michael Andy Pippin, a dedicated truck driver and beloved member of the Cookeville community, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Standing Stone Health & Rehab in Monterey, Tennessee. Born on November 28, 1964, in Cookeville, Michael led a life filled with hard work, family, and joy. He was 61.
His career as a truck driver for C Store Masters was marked by his commitment to excellence and service. Michael was known not only for his driving skills but also for his friendly demeanor and dependable nature, making him a respected figure within the industry.
Michael's passion for life extended beyond his work. He had a deep love for hunting, fishing and also enjoyed attending Senior Hall dances, cherishing moments spent with friends and family. His laughter and warmth will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Chelsey (Tray) Allison of Baxter, and his brother-in-law, Chris Eaton of Lebanon. Michael was a proud grandfather to Kaylie Jones, Rylan Allison, and Kayson Allison, who brought him immense joy and pride; nieces and nephew, Brandi Eaton, Amanda Eaton and Christopher Eaton.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Andy Sherrell Pippin and Mattie Bowman Pippin Stewart, and his sister, Angela Eaton. Their memories remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM, both taking place at Dyer Chapel located at 798 South Willow Avenue in Cookeville, Tennessee. Burial will follow in West Cemetery. Bro. Ken Haney will officiate.
