Mr. Hugh (H.O.) Oscar Allison

Funeral services for Hugh (H.O.) Oscar Allison, age 86 of Baxter will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Allison Cemetery. Hugh was born January 17, 1930 in Cookeville to the late Hugh Oscar Allison Sr. & Lola Herron Allison. Hugh is survived by his wife of 30 years, Georgah Allison of Baxter; one daughter, Pam Vance of Cookeville; step daughter, Joan (Ed) Noga and Sherry (Steve) Cantrell, one brother, Phillip Allison of Mt. Juliet; sister, Letha Mae Randolph of Cookeville. H.O. leaves behind grandchildren, Hope Davis and Angel (husband Bruce) Hilton. Great- grandchildren, Austin Davis, Hailey Herron, MaKenzy Herron, Zian Lindsey, Liberty and Phoenix Hilton, as well as step children and step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren & many other friends and loved ones. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Annette Allison Hammons and a sister, Deanna Austin and a brother, Eugene Allison and his first wife, Marthena Montgomery Allison. Family will serve as pallbearers. Bro. Frank Davis and Cory Price will officiate the services.
