Funeral Services for Mr. James Harlon Langford, age 86, of Madison, TN and formerly of Cookeville, will be Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday evening, November 20, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Saturday from 10:00a.m. until time of the service. Burial will be in the Cookeville City Cemetery. Mr. Langford passed away Tuesday morning, November 17, 2015 surrounded by his loving family, in Madison TN. James was born July 13, 1929 in Cookeville TN to the late Aaron Langford and Pauline Hicks Langford. James enjoyed boating, camping and woodworking. He was a retired machinist and worked many years with A&B Tool & Die Company. James is survived by two daughters; Kara Bryant and Jama “Tonya” Lutcavich both of Madison, TN., one sister, Norma Jean Hawkins of Cookeville; two grandchildren, Joey (wife Katie) Bryant of Gallatin and Ashley Bryant of Hendersonville as well as two great-grandchildren, Dante & Cheyenne Bryant. In addition to his parents, Mr. Langford was preceded in death by his wife; Betty Sue Langford and one brother; Charles Langford. Bro. Mark Gaw will officiate the service.
