Noel Anderson

Funeral Services for Alfred Noel Anderson, 81 of Silver Point will be Thursday, Jan. 9 at 1 P.M. from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Tucker Ridge Cemetery. His family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Anderson died Tuesday morning, January 7, 2014 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born July 10, 1932 in Putnam County to the late Ewin P. and Oda Carr Anderson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several sisters and brothers. He was a retired Truck driver, driving for Yellow Freight and Transcon. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Germany. Survivors include wife of 59 years Mildred Carr Anderson (whom he married on Dec. 4, 1954 in Springfield, TN); two sons and a daughter-in-law Jackie Anderson and Ricky and Lisa Anderson all of Silver Point, sister Anna Mae Burgess of Baxter, brother and sister-in-law Harold Richard "RICH" and Mick Anderson of Baxter, granddaughter Samantha Lafever, great-grandson Jordan Lafever, and a host of nieces and nephews. Bro. Tony Crow will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
