Paul Wilmoth

COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Paul Douglas Wilmoth, age 75, passed away on Friday September 11, 2026, at NHC in Sparta.

Mr. Wilmoth was preceded in death by his father, Harry High Wilmoth; his mother, Mary Ellen Benson Wilmoth; and his wife of over 20 years Patricia Carlene Armstrong Wilmoth. Their memories remained an enduring part of his life and are now reunited with him in peaceful remembrance.

He is survived by cousins: Larry Wilmoth and his wife, Dana; Roger Wilmoth and his wife, Mary; Vickie Wilmoth; Lloyd Benning; Pat Wilmoth; Robbie Wilmoth; Kevin Wilmoth; and Gary Wilmoth. Their shared family bond stands as a lasting tribute to Paul’s place within the Wilmoth family, and his memory will continue to be carried forward by those who knew and loved him.

Family and friends will be received for visitation on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home (59 N Jefferson Avenue). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Phillips Cemetery, Phillips Cemetery Road, Algood, Tennessee 38506. Larry Wilmoth will officiate.
