Payton Smuin

Payton Rae Smuin, age 3, passed away January 19, 2023. Payton was born in Wilmington, NC on May 12, 2019, to parents Liah Smuin and Joshua Smuin. Payton was a bright, active, and mischievous little girl. She was always the center of attention with her love of all things pink and her loud and vivacious personality which couldn’t be ignored.

She never missed an opportunity to dance, sing, and fill everyone around her with love. Payton leaves behind her parents, Josh and Liah Smuin, as well as her two brothers Colton and Logan. She is also survived by grandparents: James and Shana Kitchen, and Dave and Angie Smuin. The family welcomes all to her funeral service at New Beginning Fellowship Church Saturday, January 28th at 11 a.m. To honor Payton, the family asks everyone to wear pink, Payton’s favorite color.
