Peggy Holleman

Mrs. Margaret Frances (Peggy) Holleman, 72, of Cookeville, died suddenly Wednesday morning, April 24, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned. Mrs. Holleman was born April 28, 1940 in Hattiesburg, MS to the late Leslie and Frances Carpenter Dowdy. She was a former music teacher and band director Cookeville High School as well as other schools in the Knoxville and Gatlinburg area. She also formerly operated a catering service and was co-owner of Serendipity Café and Bakery in Cookeville. Mrs. Holleman is survived by her husband of 35 years, William (Bill) Holleman (whom she married May 7, 1977 in Gatlinburg, TN); and a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Ann Dowdy of Ecuador.
