Rebecca Ann Bunch

Rebecca Ann Bunch, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, passed away suddenly at her residence in Cookeville, TN, on Saturday December 13, 2025. She was born on March 3, 1953, in Putnam County, Tennessee, and lived a life full of spontaneity and joy, often known as the "life of the party."

She leaves behind a loving family, including her son, John Derrick Rittenberry, and daughters, Mary Beth Bohannon, and Tracy Dawn Montgomery. Rebecca was proud of her five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Her legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire them.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Harold Montgomery and Perry Helen Owens Montgomery; her son, Darrell Glen Rittenberry; as well as her siblings, Betty Jane Mee and Barbara Lynn Montgomery. They will surely be welcoming her with open arms.

Private services are being planned for a later date.

As we remember Rebecca, let us celebrate her spontaneous spirit and the joy she spread to all those around her. Her life was a testament to living fully and loving deeply, and she will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends
