Rellon Farris

Funeral services for Mr. Rellon Eugene Farris, age 82, of Sparta, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday September 24 at Dyer Funeral Home. Bro. Doyle Crawford will officiate. Interment will follow in the West Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4 - 7 p.m. and again Tuesday from 12 p.m. until service time. Rellon passed away Saturday September 21, 2019 at his home in Sparta, TN. He was born January 1, 1937 in Putnam County, TN to the late Troy and Marie Riddle Farris. Rellon was a faithful member of the O'Connor Church of Christ. He was retired truck driver with over 40 years of service. He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Patty (Larry) Haston, and Sissy Farris, all of Sparta; three brothers, Glen (June) Farris of Cookeville, Roy (Kathy) Farris of Crossville, and Stacy (Pat) Farris of Cookeville; two sisters, Faye Mayberry and Wanda Hood of Cookeville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Dubree Farris; sisters-in-law, Sylvia Farris, Loama (Earl Fox) (Keith Heiskell) Heiskell, Jean (Freddie) Alcorn; brothers-in-law, Clifton Mayberry, Omer (Bessie) Dubree, and Lex (Nell) Dubree. The family would like to thank Rellon's caregivers, Lisa, Elizabeth, Tammy, and Taylor for the friendship and support.
