Renee Hall

Memorial services for Doris Renee Hall, 80, of Algood, will be held at 11am on Thursday, March 28 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Tiebout officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10am until service time. Mrs. Hall died Monday, March 25, 2013 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Masters in Algood. Mrs. Hall was born January 12, 1933 in Belleville, IL to the late Phillip and Edna Guenther Macke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Duvall of Cookeville and by a sister, Carol Macke. Mrs. Hall was a former educator having taught English in Illinois, Colorado and also in Iran. She later was a realtor in Rocky Mount, NC. She is survived by three sons, Ron Grover of Elmwood, TN, Richard L. Grover, and David Grover of Spottsville, VA; daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Gary Powell of Algood, TN; seven grandchildren, Whitney and husband Jeffery Williams, Blair and husband Brandon Blair, Trevor Powell, Hannah Grover, and Daniel Grover, Dain Grover and Cord Grover seven great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Asher and Bryn Williams, Addison, Elizabeth, Ian and Anna Blair.
