Ronald Allen Baker

COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Ronald Allen Baker, age 61, of Cookeville, TN passed away Wednesday August 27, 2025. Born on April 13,1964 in Hamilton, Ohio to parents Robert and Evelyn Baker, Ron was known for his creativity, unwavering kindness, community involvement and dedication to family. He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1982 and Miami University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Ron worked as a Professional Photographer, Artist for over 25 years and owner of PhotoArt Gallery and Studio in Cookeville, Tennessee.

In his free time, Ron enjoyed conversations with friends, caring for his loving Boxer, Scooby, photography, cooking, kayaking, and riding his motorcycle. He was a passionate advocate for the Cookeville Art community.

Ron was a devoted father to Leopold, Clemens and Amelie. He is also survived by his siblings, Keith (Teri) Baker, Marcia Brandenburg, and Carol (Jody Crawford and several nieces, nephews, a grandnephew, and lifelong friend, Jeff Hannigan. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his niece, Lauren Baker.

Ron’s family will be forever grateful for the support given from the wonderful people of Cookeville. We know Ron would want everyone to carry on with kindness to others and to take time to appreciate the beautiful things that life has to offer. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
