Rosa Velazco Aquino

On September 21, 2021, Rosa Thelma Velazco Aquino passed away peacefully at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was 68 years old. A lifelong Chiapas native, Rosa was well-loved in her small town and community. Rosa was the mother of six children. Despite her large family Rosa always made time for everyone. She always provided support and love for her family. She always was a leader and through her, her children and family knew what resilience and perseverance truly looked like. Rosa is survived by her husband Oscar Burguete and her six children, Mary, Dary, Fredi, Arturo, Miguel and Merli. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her body will be repatriated to her native Mexico and funeral services will be held there. Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
