Roy Gene South, age 59, passed away after a year-long battle with cancer on Monday, April 14, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Virginia; daughter, Adrienne (Michael) Farnan; son, Roy (Heather) South; granddaughter, Jaya South. Roy has donated his body to medical research and education. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203 or alivehospice.org.
