Roy Manis

Funeral services for Roy Boyd Manis, age 48 of Cookeville, will be at 12 noon Thursday December 30 at Algood Family Event Center, 124 First Ave. Algood, TN. Rev. Richard Bond will officiate. Interment will follow at Rinnie Cemetery in Cumberland County. His family will receive friends Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Roy passed away Sunday December 26, 2021 at Summit Medical Center in Nashville. He was born February 15, 1973 in Cookeville to the late Ocia Bates Manis and Ann Evon Buck Manis. Roy was employed at Fitzgerald Collison and Repair. He was a hard worker always willing to help friends with mechanical repairs. He is survived by his companion, Angela Montgomery; and siblings, Eddie Manis, Coy Manis, Daniel Manis, Jimmie McCourt, and Reba Wyatt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Paul Manis, Delia McCourt, Earl Manis, Robert Manis, Omer Manis, Bud Manis, Lillie Cooper, and James Manis.
