Rozella Boyd

Funeral services for Mrs. Rozella Marie Boyd, 89 of the Crossroads Community of Overton County near Monterey,TN will be held Saturday December 30, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memory Gardens in Crossville, TN. Father Jim Harvey will officiate. Mrs. Boyd died Sunday morning December 24, 2017 in Standing Stone Care and Rehab Center in Monterey. She was born January 3, 1928 in Kansas City, MO to the late Charles and Ruth Goss Crockett. Rozella was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Crossville. Rozella was retired form A & P Foods in Maryland and was a Greeter at Wal Mart in Crossville for several years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Boyd. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Pamela Boyd of Monterey; two daughters and a son-in-law, Joan Mehrer of Monroe City, MO, and Cheyene and Robert Benbow of Hot Springs Village, AR; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Boyd of Upper Marboro, Maryland; grandchildren, Allen (Doris) Mehrer, Addam (Jennifer) Mehrer, Andrew (Catie) Benbow, Gene (Beth) Benbow, Michael Boyd, Aidan (Patrick) Schneider, Sarah Boyd, Jaime (Matthew) Lescault, Cameron (Kelsey) Easter, and Meghan (A.J.) Hamill; 15 great grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Boyd's family will receive friends Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Horner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements (931) 526-6111.
