Ruth Shannon

Mrs. Ruth Laura Shannon, age 88 of Cookeville, passed away Sunday December 27, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. No services are planned. She was born July 5, 1932 in Chino, CA to the late Bernard and Sophie LaBrada Houghton. Mrs. Shannon is survived by two sons, Francisco Gomez of Cookeville, Robert Gomez of Winter Garden, FL; daughter, Sharon Valentine of Roseville, CA; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Her grand and great grandchildren loved her very much. She will be missed by all that were blessed to meet her. Dyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
