Sharon Ann Baker

COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Sharon Ann Baker passed away on Saturday September 12, 2026, at Signature Healthcare of Putnam County. She was born on August 24, 1943, in Kossuth County, Iowa.

Sharon will be remembered as a thoughtful woman whose life was centered on faith, family, and service. A homemaker, she devoted herself to caring for those around her and creating a home marked by warmth and love. After moving to Cookeville in 1999, she became an active member of Heavenly Host Lutheran Church. Devout in her faith, she also served in the church thrift store, giving her time generously and finding joy in helping others.

She found happiness in gardening and tending to her plants, and she especially loved children. Sharon also enjoyed serving and volunteering, and these simple but meaningful acts reflected the kindness and steady spirit that shaped her life.

She is survived by her grandson, Kyle Beckett, and Abigail; and by her brothers-in-law, Charles Baker and Joe Baker. Those who knew Sharon will remember her for her caring heart, her faithful service, and the quiet thoughtfulness she brought to the lives of others.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Baker; her daughter, Tamara Lyons; her father, Walter Magnuson; her mother, Ella Mae Carter; and her sister, Lucy Honnette.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday November 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Heavenly Host Lutheran Church, 777 South Willow Avenue, Cookeville, Tennessee 38501.
