Stan Seitz

COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Stan Seitz, age 78, of Cookeville, Tennessee, passed away suddenly on November 23, 2025 in the Emergency Room of Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He was born on February 2, 1947 in McGregor, Iowa to the late Donald Frank and Velma May Jackson Seitz.

Mr. Seitz graduated from Kirkwood College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where he studied Mechanical Engineering.

A proud United States Air Force veteran, Stan lived a life defined by dedication, integrity, and immense love for his family. He especially adored his grandchildren, who brought him constant joy and pride.

Stan was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He shared 55 years of marriage with his loving wife, Linda Seitz. He is also survived by his daughter, Kim Seitz; his son, Shane Seitz, and daughter-in-law Silena Seitz; his two cherished grandchildren, Paige Seitz and Zane Seitz; his brother, Paul (Kathy) Seitz; and his sister, Shelly (Jerry) Nobiling.

A service to honor Stan’s life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Poplar Grove Baptist Church in Cookeville with Dr. Jason Groe officiating.

The family will welcome friends from 12 PM until the time of service at the church.

Stan will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his loyalty to those he loved, and the deep devotion he showed to his family. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
