Steven And Emma Spurlock

Graveside services and interment for siblings, Emma Grace Hope Spurlock, age 14, and Steven Anthony Lee Spurlock, age 15, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday March 11 at J.J. White Cemetery. Marty Sheldon will officiate.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home.

Emma and Steven passed away Friday March 3, 2023, along with their mother, Pamela Prichard Spurlock.

Emma was born December 29, 2008 in Cookeville. She was an 8th grade student at White Plains Academy. She loved animals, skating, crafting, and being with friends and family. She loved school and playing practical jokes on friends and family.

Steven was born April 4, 2007 in Cookeville and was a freshman at Cookeville High School. He liked to spend time playing video games and enjoyed school friendships and his teachers. He loved all animals, but was especially fond of his cats.

Emma and Steven were both tender hearted and loved their family.

They are survived by their father, Edward Spurlock; paternal grandparents, Marcia and Don Spurlock of Cookeville; great grandmothers, Hazel Billingsley of Cookeville; and Belle Spurlock of Cookeville; maternal grandparents, Kay and Tony Clark of Byrdstown; aunts, Myra Hook of Dallas, TX, Angel Bruce of Westmoreland, TN, Donna Boles of Celina, TN, and Christine Prichard of Cookeville; uncles, Johnny Crossman of Cookeville, Matthew Prichard of Jackson County, TN, and Tim Prichard of Byrdstown; and a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins, friends, and teachers.

They are preceded in death by their grandfather, Billy Prichard; and great-grandfathers, Ralph Billingsley, and Amos Spurlock.
