COOKEVILLE- Sybil Pearl Henry Stewart born to the late Ernest and Evelyn Henry on January 19, 1952 in Monterey,TN, passed away Sunday November 2, 2025 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Sybil loved the Lord, and loved people. She enjoyed cooking, and many were blessed by her signature pinto beans and fried potatoes. She and her boys often challenged each other in the kitchen as they shared the love for cooking. She was known for her apple stacked cakes. She was generous and shared the fruit of kitchen with many. She really enjoyed sweet tea and ice cold coke.
She never met a stranger and had a laugh that was contagious. She had a great sense of humor, and She truly embodied a spirit of joy. Her phone line was always open for prayer. She was a prayer warrior and interceded for many people. She loved music and loved to worship the Lord.
She loved snow, and loved to travel and traveled all over from the mountains to the beach. Sybil was a great artist and loved to paint rocks. She enjoyed rock hunting, and picking out the right rocks to paint, and giving them to family and friends.
Sybil served her community in various capacities. She was avid motorcyclist and was one of the founders of Cookeville Christian Motorcyclists Association chapter, and was instrumental in bringing March for Jesus to this area. She also did a lot of community events with ABATE.
She loved her sons, and was proud of them. She enjoyed being with them, and she will be greatly missed by them and all that knew her.
Although we miss her, we know while she is absent from the body, she is present with the Lord. (2 Cor 5:8) She has finished her race, and finally gets to hear her “well done good and faithful servant!”
