Tim Roberson

Funeral services for Timothy Wade Roberson, age 56 of Welsh, LA and formerly of Cookeville, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday September 17 in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Tracy Daugherty will officiate. Interment will follow at Browns Mill Cemetery.

His family will receive friends Friday from 5 - 7 p.m. and again Saturday from 12 p.m. until service time.

Tim passed away Friday September 9, 2022 at Jennings American Legion Hospital in Jennings, LA.

He was born February 6, 1966 in New Orleans, LA to Howard Lee Roberson of Cookeville and the late Judy Ellen Perry Roberson.

Tim graduated from high school in Anchorage, AK. He formerly worked at Maggart Tire and also at Baron USA as a design engineer.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his son, Tyler Roberson of Cookeville; brother, Butch (Laurie) Roberson of Vancouver, WA; grandchildren, Dawson and Lucas Roberson; nephews, Shelby (Shannon) Roberson and Jamie (Susan Moorehead) Beard; niece, Kristin (Jim) Huffman; great nephews, Dustin Huffman and Jarrett Eads; great niece, Olivia Beard; and several cousins.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David Roberson and Thomas Roberson.
